Dr. Dounski

Dr. Dounski has been providing state of the art dental care for over twenty years. He has been a long time resident of Edgewater and he takes pride in servicing the community as well as residents of Fort Lee, Cliffside Park, Fairview, North Bergen, West New York, Manhattan and all other boroughs of New York City, Long Island and Northern New Jersey with affordable, high quality dental care. Dr. Dounski received his doctorate in dentistry from New York University in 1994. Prior to that, he was a well established dentist in St. Petersburg, Russia. He avidly follows the advances in dentistry and dental technology so that he can provide the most up-to-date care he can for all of his patients. He frequently attends dental seminars and has acquired numerous Continuing Education credits to keep up with the latest research and techniques. Dr. Dounski goes out of his way to make sure patients know that they are the most valued part of his practice. He makes after-hours calls, provides his cell number as an emergency number, and always makes time to personally answer all patient questions.

Hi, I’m Vicky! I am the Certified Dental Assistant at River Road Dental. I have been with the River Road Dental office for almost five years! I earned my certification at the Institute for Health Education and I also have my x-ray license and am CPR certified. Through hard work and dedication, I have become the Clinical coordinator of the practice, which means that I oversee all clinical operations. I also maintain the inventory, implant database and Chairside Whitening for our patients. I’ll help answer any treatment questions you might have, assist Dr. Dounski with your dental procedures and always have a chairside smile ready for you!

Hello! I’m Via and I am the Office Manager at River Road Dental. I have been with River Road Dental for over a year, and in the dental field for about eight years. I come from a dental family so almost no question or concern will go unanswered. I work very closely with our Patient Coordinator as well as with the clinical department of our practice to make sure that things run smoothly. I handle dental claims and appeals, provide our staff with the latest dental news and information, and coordinate the business aspect of the practice.  In addition, I am the person who will consult with you to discuss financial options as well as case length if Dr. Dounski recommends extensive dental treatment. Although we may not meet at your very first visit, I am always around and here to help!

I have been part of the River Road Dental family for 5 months, and have been involved in dental front-desk operations for about 9 years. As your Patient Coordinator, i am your “go-to” person in the office. Whether you need an appointment, have a question for Dr. Dounski, or want to discuss how payment plans and insurance benefits play a part in your treatment, I will help you get the answer you need. I will arrange appointments that are convenient for your busy schedule, remind you when it it time to come back for your routine professional cleaning with our hygienist, speak with your insurance company to confirm benefits and much more.
